Wrinkle Relaxing Injections

Botox is the tradename for Botulinum toxin type A, which is derived from a microbe. It’s use in cosmetic medicine is FDA approved and it’s mainly used as a muscle relaxant for the treatment of wrinkles. Apart from being used to treat fine lines and wrinkles, it’s also used to treat migraines and excessive sweating. It also reduces and delays the appearance of new lines by relaxing the facial muscles. The optimum results are seen between 10-14 days of treatment and can last between 3 to 4 months

Dermal Fillers

Dermal fillers are mostly made from hyaluronic acid which is a naturally occurring carbohydrate in our skin. It binds water in the skin and by doing so provides hydration. As we age, the skin loses its elasticity, levels of naturally occurring hyaluronic acid gets depleted and there is volume loss, face appears hollowed out, there is also thinning of lips, making the skin look aged and tired.

Excessive Sweating

Excessive sweating is called Hyperhidrosis. This condition can be successfully treated by injecting small amounts of Botulinum toxin A into the armpit. This treatment can have a positively life-changing impact on many patients by improving their confidence as the excessive sweating problem can often be the cause of embarrassment for many.

The treatment temporarily blocks the nerves responsible for sweat production and the effect can typically last from 6-9 months. We do advise that you consult with your doctor before considering this treatment in order to rule out any other cause of excessive sweating.

Thread Vein Treatment

We offer micro-sclerotherapy for treatment of thread veins in legs. This is considered to be the gold standard treatment for thread veins, the success rate of which is about 70%. The procedure involves injecting the superficial veins with a chemical solution using a very fine needle. Over time the veins heals and then fade away. Commonly patients need about 3-4 treatments few months apart to see optimum results.
